1. With the development of society, more and more people think going to college is not the only way to get a bright future and college education is not necessary for everyone.

Everyone has their own characteristic. Maybe someone wants to be a singer or movie star. And they do not need college education. But we think for most people although going to college is not the only choice, it is a better choice.

2. For some people, they think college education will facilitate their self-development and they will have more and better employment opportunities.

We think it is true. In college, we learn the skills of expression and communication， improve the ability of learning and know much more about how to deal with the problem. So under the same conditions, someone who is college graduates has more chances to get a better job.

3. For some people, they think college degrees do not guarantee a good job and they still do not have the skills that they should have.

Indeed, the number of the college students is increasing faster and faster in these years, and many of them except to find a work with a higher salary, so that the employment of college students becomes a big problem that puzzled people for years.

4. According to statistics, many people want to engage in jobs which are

related to their major. But they also approve that someone get a job which completely irrelevant with their major, even a menial/indecent job.

As a famous saying goes, “All roads lead to Rome”. And according to many cases, we can see each and every profession produces its top experts. And we think if you are satisfied your job no matter what it is, it is OK and just work hard.

All in all, although college education has a positive effect on your professional development if you want to have a career such as lawyer, engineer or chemist, it is not necessary for everyone. And even if you are a college graduates, it doesn’t mean you must engage in jobs which are related to their major. For us, the only thing we can do now is to work hard and study hard.
