Module 8 My past life

学习目标:
★知识与技能: 掌握Module8Unit1的单词和短语。
★过程与方法: 通过小组合作学习,能灵活运用含有was/were的句型进行交际。
★态度、情感和价值观:热爱故乡,珍惜友谊。
学习过程:
一. 新课导入
1)用本单元描述人物性格的形容词与学生互动:问与答
Are you friendly/ nice/well-behaved/ naughty?
2)巧妙过渡到了解学生小学的表现引出句型:
Were you happy/ friendly/nice/ well-behaved/ naughty in primary school?
3)进行热身游戏(Ask Ss to stand up and say “ I was …):
二.初识新句型
1)Ask two students:
What were you like in primary school?
Who was your first friend?
What was he/ she like?
Then ask Ss to practice in pairs.
图片(见ppt)展示:
问与答:
---Where were you born?...
---Where was he/she born?...
Then ask Ss to practice in groups.
2)Let’s play a game (Crazy Show) (一口气说句子)
Then ask Ss to say:
Where were you born?...
Who was your friend?
What was he like?...
三、Listening(听力练耳)
1.Show Ss the pictures of Bill Gates, Yuan Longping, Stephen Hawking. Ask Ss to listen and answer:
2.Listen to Betty’s past life and do Activity2.(Ask Ss to read through the questions first and then listen)
四 对话处理
1. 1.读前听:
(1) Listen and choose A or B.
(2)Listen again and do Activity5. (Ask Ss to read through the questions first)
2. 听后读:
(1) Ask Ss to read the dialogue by themselves.( if they have any problems, use the magic pen)
(2) Have a PK
Boys ---Tony
girls----Lingling
3. 读后学:
Ask Ss to read the dialogue carefully to see if they have any problems and discuss in groups.
Then check their learning.
Point out some important language points.
五,学以致用
参照课本对话,组内编制更加丰富多彩的对话.
Work in groups,talk about their teachers.
The Group leader interview the other students, and then act it out.
六. 当堂检测:
1.test
let’s have a test(见学案). Fill in the blanks using was/were.
2.Summary and Homework.
In this class,we’ve learned be(was/were) and some inportant sentences.
3. homework:
(1)Try to recite the dialogue.
(2)Make a report about your first friend or teacher.
