教学主题:Learn the western culture——Appellation etiquette(称谓礼仪)and Visiting etiquette(拜访礼仪)

一、教学目标

1. 知识目标:① 掌握称谓礼仪学习过程中出现的生词,例如:judge, lawyer 等

② 了解英语名字和中国姓名的不同,名和姓的位置

③ 学习西方对有地位的人的称呼方式

④ 掌握拜访礼仪教学中出现的单词和词组,例如May I …? Excuse me. 等

2. 技能目标:① 能够运用所学知识学会有礼貌的称呼对方

② 学会拜访他人时要注意的地方。

3. 情感目标:① 让学生了解礼貌用语的重要性

② 让学生了解中西方文化的差异,并能尊重各自的文化。

二、教学重点

1. 西方称谓礼仪和拜访礼仪教学中出现的有关工作,职位,礼貌用语等的单词,词组。

2. 掌握西方称谓礼仪和拜访礼仪与中国的不同。

三、教学难点

1. 掌握礼仪教学当中需要注意的地方,例如,对有地位人的称呼,拜访他人时的时间观等

2. 了解中西方文化的差异。

四、教学过程

Step 1 Warming up

1.Free talk

T: What’s your name?

What’s your first name?

What’s your last name?

Step 2 Presentation

1. Show some pictures about people in different jobs, teach the words: judge, lawyer, capital, general and so on.

2. Set a situation : let students choose a job for himself, then introduce each other.

3. Teach some other callings.

4. Let students make a conversation with his or her partner by practicing appellation etiquette.

Step 3 Practice

1. Let students make a conversation with his or her partner by practicing appellation etiquette.

2. Ask several students to perform.

Step 4 Presentation

T: Now I want to visit my best friend’s home. What should I take? And what should I say?

1. Let students practice with his or her partner, then select some groups to perform it.

2. Teacher point out their mistakes in performing, and teach the right and polite way.

Step 5 Practice

1. Set a situation that one person will visit another one’s home, and let students act it out.

Step 6 Consolidation

1. Summarize what we have learned today.

2. Search the information of the western festivals.
