摘要：A process and apparatus for the measurement of the dimensions of footwearlasts and for determining reference directions for measurement and manufacture aredescribed. Horizontal and vertical projection tracings are made from a master last, by amechanical sensing- following mechanism combined with an optical projection system.Deviations from desired positions are rectified by displacing the last, in at least twodirections. The location and magnitude of deviations can be marked on the last.
