摘要：A communication device allowing a communication terminal to readilyadditionally be provided in a communication network using a power line is provided.

Processes performed by a CPU of a PLC adapter representing one manner of thecommunication device include the steps of activating a low pass filter by switching a relay(S431) when connection of a communication terminal to a service power outlet isdetected (YES in step S414) and when a pairing request has been issued (YES in stepS420), transmitting setting information (S432), and inactivating the low pass filter byswitching the relay after setting of the setting information is completed (S450).
