摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hub bearing, a speed reductionmechanism, and an in-wheel motor, which are easy to be assembled and to be mountedon a wheel and a transmission mechanism at a driving source side.SOLUTION: The hubbearing includes: an inner ring section which is fixed to a support mechanism; an outerring section which is connected to the wheel; and rotating bodies which are disposedbetween the inner ring section and the outer ring section, and which support the innerring section and the outer ring section so as to be relatively rotated with the rotationshaft as a center. The outer ring section is provided with: an outer ring membercontacting the rotating bodies; a wheel flange which is connected to the wheel; and afixing mechanism for fixing the outer ring member to the wheel flange. The inner ringsection is provided with: a first inner ring member which is fixed to the supportmechanism; a second inner ring member which is inserted into the outer peripheralsurface of the first inner ring member; and a lock nut which is disposed on the outerperipheral surface of the first inner ring member at a position toward the wheel sidefurther than the second inner ring member and which is screwed to the first inner ringmember. The lock nut is configured so that the position of the end surface, which is

located on the side far from the wheel side in the direction parallel to the rotation shaft,is located toward the wheel side further than the contact face of the outer ring memberwith the wheel flange.
