In China, the traditional image of the average family shows that the number of the family member is five. In fact, such a family is relatively rare today. With the development of the society and economy, new pattern of the family unit has become increasingly common.

Inverted pyramid families Where a family does consist of husband, wife, one child, four parents elders, it is less and less common for the wife who has two or more children in the past decade years. Since 1979, there has been a tremendous increase in the number of 421 families. In this family, the young parents need to afford four old man endowment burden and a child's family pressure.

Tiny families With postponed married, there has been a huge rise in the number of young persons. With flowed population, there has been a huge rise in the number of the Single and two-people families. Since the 21th, the number of Tiny families has increased rapidly. From 2000 to 2010, the proportion of the Single in China more than double, 68% increase in the number of Ding Ke family. In this period,these families' number has rose from 25 percent to 40 percent.

Mobile Homes and Families Mobile homes and families have become relatively common patterns of the Chinese families. According to the survey that the current mobile families are close to 20%. The migration of the population makes the function reduce in their children education, supporting parents, child-rearing and women helping. Due to their parents work out annually, the left-behind children have little interaction with their parents about their learning, so they have few good family atmosphere. The emotion with grandma and grandpa is deeper than others. Thus, it is easy for them to develop bad habits and behaviors owing to the absence of parents. In our current life, we find that the new family unit pattern is springing up. At the same time, the inevitable problems and contradictions are occurring as well.
