Hi my dear teachers and distinguished ’s my great honor to stand here to make this speech. My topic today is “make our environment wonderful again”.(开头)

These days I have made some investigations about the environmental problems. I searched a lot of information online. And what I finally found was a really astonishing result. It is reported that each year, China loses over trillion RMB due to the environmental pollution, and about one million people died of diseases which

caused by the environmental issues. Alarmingly, these figures are still increasing year by year. We know air, water, soil have been polluted in varying degrees, the

environmental pollution has already become a serious issue that we have to face, all the human beings have to face.近些天来我对于环境问题做了一些调查。我在网上找了很多资料，最终我发现了一些令人吃惊的结果。据报导，中国每年由于环境污染问题所引起的经济损失高达万亿以上，并且将近有100万人死于环境问题所引起的一些疾病。令人担忧的是，这一系列数字还呈现出每年上升的趋势。我们知道，空气、水体和土壤都已经在不同程度上被污染，环境污染已经成为了一个我们不得不面对的问题，所有人类不得不面对的问题。

Take the electronic trash as an example, my mom bought a new phone several days ago. And you know what

There are a lot of abandoned old mobile phones lying in the drawer of her room. She just has no idea about how to deal with those old phones in a proper way. We change our electronic devices in a very high frequency these days, but how to deal with the old ones It could be a headache problem. What if we just throw them away It will cause some negative impacts to the environment ,the harmful substances inside the phone may pollute the soil or water. 下面就让我用电子垃圾作为一个例子。我妈妈前几天刚买了一个新手机。但你猜怎么着，在我妈妈房间的抽屉里不知道躺着多少旧手机呢，她不知道该如何妥当地处理这些旧手机。我们很多人都会频繁地换新手机，但是对于旧手机该如何处理是一个令人头疼的问题。如果我们把它们随意扔掉的话，这会对环境造成一些消极的影响，手机里的有害物质会土壤或者水体造成污染。

From my perspective, we should make full use of those abandoned electronic devices instead of just throwing them away or keeping them in the drawer. I heard that at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, nearly 8 tones of metals collected from the abandoned electronic products will be the raw materials to make the could be our referential solution. Meanwhile, the government gotta attach more importance to strengthen the awareness of every single individual to protect the environment, to make our environment wonderful again.在我看来，我们应该把这些废弃的电子设备充分利用起来，而不是将他们扔掉或者闲置在抽屉里面。我听说2020年的东京奥运会提倡变废为宝，将电子产品中收集多达8吨的废金属来制作奖牌。我觉得这就是一种值得我们借鉴的措施。与此同时，政府也应该对提高每一个公民的环保意识给予重视，从而使我们的环境重新变好。
