教学目标
1 帮助学生学习字母U, V W 2 帮助学生掌握数词的写法。
Pre-task preparations
1．事先准备好一些物品图片，让学生看图然后 两人一组对图片中物品的数量做问答，以此 复习前一课时所学的内容。如可就农场的图片里面有多少只猪、狗等做问答，也可就水果 店的图片有多少只香蕉、桔子等做问答。
S1: (show the picture of a farm) How many pigs，(S2’s name)? S2: Two pigs. S1: How many dogs? S2: Four dogs.
2．教师请一位学生站到讲台前背对黑板，然后用多媒体显示或在黑板上用简笔画画出一些物品，如两支铅笔、三块橡皮、四把尺……。为增加挑战性和趣味性，可仅出示图片局 部。教师指着某张图画，其他学生就提问图中物品的数量，站在讲台前的学生猜测，猜 对则可回到座位上，同时点名让另一名学生到讲台前面继续玩游戏。 T: (point to the picture of two pencils) Ss: How many pencils? S1：One pencil. Ss: No. S1: Two pencils.
Ss: Yes, very good! Two pencils.
While-task procedures
1．学生课前收集不同物品的图片，给图片写上相应的名称，如books，chairs，apples，让学生四人一组玩猜谜游戏，组长把图片正面朝下放在一起，组员每次取一张图后提问：How many…叫、组其他成员猜测，猜对的可以保留图片， 到游戏结束时，保留图片最多的学生

速说出相应字母和单词。 T: (show the card for the letter Cc) Ss: C, c. Cat.
然后，出示字母Uu，Vv和Ww酌卡片，帮助学生认读和书写这三个字母。最后，播放Learn the letters栏目的儿歌录音，让学生跟着录音诵读儿歌。
4．让学生分别用Learn the letters栏目里出现的uncle，van和window等单词改编Unit 8中 Listen and enjoy的儿歌。如：
One uncle，two uncles，three uncles, four. Five uncles, six uncles, Seven uncles, more!
Post-task activities
S2: Five apples? S1: Yes.
2．让学生用英语数一数Read and trace栏目图中书本、钢笔、铅笔和尺子的数量。 Ss: One，two，two pens.
S: One, two, three, four, four pencils.
然后就着印刷体在四线三格中描写three，two，four和one等数词。 让学生同桌之间就对方的书包里有多少东西 互相问答，然后写一写自己的书包里有多少东 西。教师可先给出写作例句，如：
Two pens, three rubbers, one ruler and five books．

am,is 和 are 的用法：
