摘要：A magneto-optical recording medium includes a substrate, a reproducing layerformed on the substrate, a recording layer formed on the reproducing layer, and an

intermediate layer formed between the reproducing layer and the recording layer. Thereproducing layer is an in-plane magnetization film at room temperature. The recordinglayer has a Curie temperature lower than that of the reproducing layer. The intermediatelayer has a Curie temperature lower than those of the reproducing layer and the

recording layer. The reproducing layer transits to a perpendicular magnetization film at atemperature between room temperature and the Curie temperature of the intermediatelayer.
