My name is Emily and I am a student in the eighth grade. I love travelling and exploring different cultures. Last summer, my family and I visited Japan. It was an amazing experience! We started our trip in Tokyo, the capital city of Japan. We visited many famous landmarks, such as the Tokyo Tower and the Imperial Palace. We also tried traditional Japanese food like sushi and ramen. The city was bustling with people and there were so many things to see and do.
After Tokyo, we took a bullet train to Kyoto. Kyoto is known for its beautiful temples and gardens. We visited the famous Kinkaku-ji Temple, also known as the Golden Pavilion. The temple was covered in gold leaf and it was truly magnificent. We also enjoyed walking through the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove and taking a boat ride along the Hozu River.
Our last stop was Osaka, where we visited Universal Studios Japan. We had so much fun going on the rides and watching the shows. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter was my favorite part. We also tried Osaka’s famous street food, like takoyaki and okonomiyaki.
Overall, our trip to Japan was a memorable experience. I fell in love with the country’s rich culture and friendly people. I hope to visit again someday!
