Unite 4 It's windy today

Lesson 10

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. My name is Ding Yanqing .I'm from No.3 Primary School of Puyang County . My teaching content is \"Unit 4 It's windy today\" Lesson 10 in Book 4. Now I'd like to analyse my ideas in the following steps . 一 、Step1.Talk about the teaching material.

1.First,encourage the students to use the weather report to talk about the weather in English .

2.And then I will talk about the learning aims which include four parts .

a:First,knowledge goals:

Get the students to master the six words:

windy , cloudy , rainy , sunny , hot , cold And to use the sentence patterns: It's windy today. Put on your jacket.

b: second, Ability goals: Improve the students' oral English. Develop their communicative ability.

c: Third ,Emotion goal:The students can realize the importance of learning English and they can learn how to make the weather report .

d:Fourth , the culture goal :Know the weather information of several places in our country .Encourage the students to love our country .

3. After that ,let's talk about the key points and difficult points . According to the teaching content and leaning aims , I take these two points as the key points and difficult points .

a: One is enable the students to listen, speak,and read the six new words.

b: The other is to get them to use language in real life. 二、Step2. Now let's talk about the learning procedures. <一> 、The first aspect is warming up.

1. Listen to the song about the weather and find the new words of this lesson. And then learn the new words.

2. The teacher asks : What's the weather like today? Next lead the students to answer: It's cloudy /windy /sunny /rainy . . . <二>、 The second aspect is presentation .

Part I. \" Listen and say \" Let the students listen to the tape and read the dialogue with two questions: 1. What dose John want to say to his mother? 2. What does his mother say to him?

After answering the questions,we can divide the students into two

parts. The boys are John .The girls are John's mother . Then change characters.At last let the students work in pairs. <三> 、The third aspect is practice .

In Part II. The students have learnt the new words well .And then make dialogues with \" sunny ,rainy, cloudy, windy ,hot ,cold.\" T: What's the weather like today? Ss:It's ... today .

After doing that ,the students have already mastered the new words .Now let them compare : sun→sunny rain→rainy wind→ windy cloud→cloudy

<四>、The fourth aspect is consolidation and extension. In this part ,I project a listening practice . Listen and draw the weather.

1. It's sunny today . 2. It's windy today . 3. It's cloudy today. 4. It's rainy today .

After listening ,find who draws better ? Who draws best ? And then praise them. In this part ,the students can master the sentences in daily life freely. In this way , Let's learn Part III, \" Listen and number\" .They can learn easily . At last ,let's play a

game together. I say you do or I act and you guess.Finally,get some of them to mime before all the class. 三、Step3. Homework.

Have the students look for the information about those four places and make a record. Blackboard writing:
