First,I really should confess that I didn’t quite understand it when I first read it.Why does Savannah marry to another guy?Why does John leave her again after meeting her?All I know is I would never do the same.Basically thinking ,it’s quite a stupid thing to leave the one whom you love so much and she does love you back.

We,as children,tend to beautify the world,love,future.Migical life is what we like,which is compeletely agianst the real world.How could Savannah fall in love with another guy while she was in love with John?Owing to the truth,the truth,I am sure,most of us do not want to acknowledge,which in fact has existed for along time—People change,lives change,feelings change.We always have a particular interest in making promise:I am gonna love only you for the rest of my whole life!Well,what will happen?The same words is being spoken while you are making love with another beauty ,maybe even less than one month.People change and lives change!We can’t always make the decisions for ourselves.We can’t predict what the future is gonna be.We never know!Sometimes we are forced by the situation,while most time by our feelings.Thus do not and never blame your beloved one once she falls in love with another guy.Only after you are put into the same situation can you realize the truth.We should learn to admit the maxim before it’s too late.

Back to the book.Would you choose to leave the one you wholehearted love with?My answer is probably no.At first,I really don’t understand why John choose to leave.We know he loves Savannah.We know she loves him too.Frankly

speaking,everytime I tried to figure it out,I always got messed up.Would that be a revenge?Then why would John help to raise money for her? Perhaps that is true love.As a general rule,We do things for someone out of reasons--want to be with them,have relationship with them.However,in this case the hero does the completely opposite thing,which reminds me of an old saying“All I want is to make you happy,although it has nothing to do with me anymore .”It’s kind of sentimental.In our lives,the fact that your beloved one doesn't love you any longer will sometimes emerge.Nevertheless,what would you do?Break up with her forever?Curse her?Suicide as a revenge?Kill her?You may argue these are what extremists would do.I won't rebut,however,just as I said,people change.Who can assure that you won't become one of them?No matter what your choise is,read this book and learn from it!Learn to give but not get.Learn to let go but not hold tightly.Learn to love but not only be loved.Personally,I quite admire the hero,yet I don't deny the possibility that anyone could be the hero or heroine.

Life is realistic and changeable.Everyone loves Cinderella’s story,and everyone enjoys Romeo and Juliet,but that’s not real.Writers always try their best to make us believe there is always something unchangeable and everlasting.All they did that is for payment.Get out of the trap and your daydreaming.You are not Juliet and you are not Romeo.However,as long as you understand the meaning of love,you can be the protagonist in your own way!
