Recently our class has had a
discussion about whether China should develop its private cars. Here are the results. 40% of the students hold the view that China should encourage the development of private cars greatly. They believe that private cars can make it easier and more comfortable for people to go to work, travel and so on. What’s more, developing private cars can increase the chances of employment, which is good news for lots of people. However, 60% of the students are strongly against doing so, because more private cars can never replace public transport system, so we should take it seriously.
