Last Summer Holiday
Last summer holiday, I had a great time traveling to different cities with my family. We visited several tourist attractions in China, and I learned a lot about the history and culture of our country.
The first city we visited was Beijing, the capital of China. We went to the Forbidden City and climbed the Great Wall. I was amazed by the grandeur and scale of these ancient buildings.
Then we went to Xi’an, where we saw the famous Terracotta Warriors. It was incredible to see so many life-sized statues made out of clay. We also visited the Shaanxi History Museum, which taught me a lot about the history of the Qin Dynasty and the Silk Road.
After that, we went to Guilin, which is known for its beautiful
natural scenery. We went on a boat tour and saw the stunning karst landscapes along the Li River. We also visited Reed Flute Cave, where we saw various stalagmites and stalactites.
Lastly, we went to Shanghai, which is one of the most modern cities in China. We went to the top of Shanghai Tower and enjoyed the spectacular view of the city. We also visited the Bund and had a great time exploring the shopping malls and markets.
Overall, I had a great time during my last summer holiday. It was a wonderful experience to travel with my family and learn about the different cultures and histories of the cities we visited.
