教材分析:
本课内容是本单元第六课时。继续围绕seasons, weather and seasonal activities展开话题。主要语法线索为“询问对方喜欢某季节的原因及其应答句型because引导的原因状语从句”。本课以Read and write为主要阅读材料,在完成阅读教学任务基础上,适当地补充扩展。既是对前面所学单词和会话的复习巩固,又是对本单元全部内容的立体综合。同时应注意旧知识的复现,建立各知识点间的横向纵向联系。 学生分析;
学生已经具备了一定的语言基础。在第四册Unit 4中已进行过weather的认知和应用,在第五册Unit 3关于食物的话题中曾接触过What’s your favorite fruit?语句,掌握了There be句型及其肯定,否定句式。在本单元前几课时教学中学生已经能够掌握本单元的重点单词及四会句型。因此,本节课重点在于培养学生形成阅读学习策略。在此基础上进行表达与写作训练,并适当扩展补充,以增大学生的阅读量,从而进一步提高阅读能力。 学习目标:
1. 掌握四会句子:Why do you like summer? Because I can swim in the lake. Why do you like winter? Because I can sleep a long time. 能在情景中正确运用。2. 能够读懂文章内容,并能正确回答问题和书写答句。 3. 能够就所喜欢的季节及原因进行表述。 4. 能描述季节,天气情况。 学习重难点:

1. 教学四会单词“sleep”.

T:I like winter best. Because of winter holiday. I can sleep. And I don’t need to get up early. 通过肢体语言表现四会单词“sleep”。 ① 比较sheep与sleep在音形上的不同。 ② 利用TPR动作表演来巩固四会单词。 2. 插图导入, 了解课文主要内容。

强调because的表达,进行下一组对话,同上。 Zip: Why do you like winter? Zoom: Because I can sleep a long time.
