Six years into our French living experiment, I now have adopted an ideal solution: a GPS (Global Positioning System) program on my smartphone. I rely on it to get just about anywhere, even places I've been to before. This past winter we went to the Alps (阿尔卑斯山) for a skiing vacation and a friend asked me where we went. How could I know?
