Title: My Favourite Picture Book
Objective:
- To introduce and practice new vocabulary words related to animals and colors.
- To develop listening, speaking, and reading skills through a reading activity.

Procedure:
1. Warm-up (5 minutes)
- Greet the students and ask them if they have any favorite picture books.
- Share a brief story about your favorite picture book and why you like it.
- Engage the students in a discussion about picture books and what they like about them.
2. Pre-reading Activity: Introduction of Vocabulary (10 minutes) - Show flashcards or illustrations of animals and colors one by one. - Say the name of each animal or color and have the students repeat after you.
- Write the names of the animals and colors on the chart paper or whiteboard.
- Have the students practice saying the words again as a whole class.
3. Reading Activity: \"Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?\" (15 minutes)
- Introduce the picture book and show the cover to the students. - Explain that the book is about different animals and their colors. - Read the book aloud to the students, pointing to the pictures as you go.
4. Post-reading Activities (20 minutes)
- Discussion: Ask the students questions about the book to check their understanding. For example:
- What animals did you see in the book? - What colors did you see in the book? - Which animal was your favorite? Why?
- Can you remember the order of the animals and their colors? - Vocabulary Game: Mix up the flashcards or illustrations and distribute them randomly among the students.
- Call out the name of an animal or color, and the student holding the corresponding card must stand up and say the name.
- Repeat the game, gradually increasing the speed to make it more challenging.
5. Drawing Activity (15 minutes)
- Ask the students to choose their favorite animal from the book. - Give each student a piece of paper and drawing materials. - Instruct the students to draw a picture of their chosen animal, using the colors they remember from the book.
- Encourage creativity and remind the students to draw the animal in its natural color.
- Once the students have finished, ask them to share their drawings with the class.
6. Wrap-up (5 minutes)
- Thank the students for their participation and showcase a few outstanding drawings.
- Recap the vocabulary words and review the colors and animals from the book.
- Ask the students about their experience and what they liked most about the lesson.
