Sansovini's professional football journey began in the 2011/12 season when he joined Pescara, donning the number 9 jersey. Representing Italy in the second tier league, he made 2 appearances and scored 0 goals. Moving on to the 2010/11 season, he continued with Pescara, featuring in 14 games and netting 2 goals.
In the 2009/10 season, Sansovini switched clubs to Grosseto, where he wore the number 9 and played 33 times, contributing to 16 goals. His form continued to impress in the 2008/09 season at Grosseto, where he appeared 39 times and found the back of the net 16 times, helping the team finish 6th in the league.
Earlier in his career, he played for Pescara once again, in the 2006/07 season, making 29 appearances and scoring 16 goals, followed by a brief stint at Manfredonia with 14 appearances and 3 goals. In 2005, he moved to Sesto, where he played in 35 games, contributing to 11 goals, and in 2004, he joined Sestese, playing 32 games and scoring 7 goals.
